Nope. It can make you run a tad more rich but you aren't going to notice it unless you have a high flow exhaust that gets hot enough to ignite the rich mixture when letting off the gas causing a backfire. Also, there shouldn't be any issues with the spark plugs or cats with BOVs installed.

An NA 2+2 280ZX is not the best in terms of Nissan's styling history IMO. Now the 280Z is a really nice model along with the 240 and 260.

Are there any probs with the mass airflow sensor after installing blow off's? I heard they can interfere with and cause the car to burn richer and possibly damage spark plugs and/or the catalytic converter, this true?

I just traded off literally 2 entire truck loads of parts lol Transmissions, engines, body parts, electrical, exhaust, ect. I have obtained some pretty nice parts though during my new engine build.

Well the HKS SSQV's have a lesser chance of leaks and they can be used in the place of stock recircs and can be used as recircs. To each his own since Bov's are a downgrade from stock recircs untill you get to 500hp or so and then the stock recircs fail. But nice car man and it's sounds really good.
